We connect feature films to investors. The film must have equity pieces in place such as name talent, incentives, distribution. We do not align with projects that only have an incentive and projections. Projects range from units of 250K - 10M to be raised.
Separately, we connect filmmakers to Sales Agents and Distributors. If you have a finished film, we'd love to help connect you to a sales agent/distributor.

Q. Will L.A.N.E. 38 find financing on my project if I only have a tax incentive in place?
A. We are happy to finance your incentive but we will not fully fund a film unless there's more equity, such as attached talent, in place.
Q. What pieces do I need in place for L.A.N.E. 38 to align me with an investor?
A. Generally, we align with projects that are ready-to-go. Some are weeks or days away from production, some are in production and some are in post-production. If you have name talent signed and you're looking for that final piece, we'd love to talk with you.
Q. Are you Sales Agents? And what are your fees, terms?
A. We connect finished films to Sales Agents and Distributors. Think of us as the Sales Agent to the Sales Agent/Distributor. We'll help guide you through the process, give guidance on
agreements/terms and many times advise you through marketing, release and getting those darn algos to tick in your favor. We do not charge any fees. Our deals are with the Sales Agents and the Distributors. We only ask for a Producer credit.
Q. What budgets do you work with?
A. It's less about budget size and more about the units available. We prefer units starting at 250K up to 10M. In many cases, we prefer to be the only investor.
Q. I'm a finder that knows someone, that knows someone, that knows someone looking for an investor for someone's movie. Are you interested?
A. Probably not. Generally, we like the least amount of people in the chain as possible. This can be flexible depending on situation but if you or your contact don't know who the producer/filmmakers are, we'd rather not be involved.
